Vegan Food and Information Stall in Islington

On Saturday 5th August, Vegan Campaigns organised a vegan food and information stall on Upper Street in Islington.

The public's reaction to the stall was really positive. Some people stopped to ask quite a few questions about becoming vegan. We gave away a lot of vegan recipe booklets and Vegan Society Why Vegan leaflets. Some people uttered disbelief at how delicious vegan alternatives to cheese and meat are.

As usual, the flapjacks, mini pizzas and carrot cake went down really well (despite the heat). A couple were even overheard talking to each other about the mini-pizzas further up the road!

The next vegan stall takes place on Oxford Street on Saturday 30 September. More details here..
