Vegan Campaigns Stalls This Month

The last of our stalls at outdoors green fairs this year was at Brockwell Park. The Urban Green Fair (which took place last Sunday) was a great success and the sun shone all day and our food ran out pretty quickly. Vegan Campaigns had a stall there, and leafletted by the meat stalls (Vegan Society - "Are Your Meals Costing The Earth?").

This afternoon, we hit the streets of Wimbledon. We gave out a range of food and drink including soya milk, mini pizzas, chocolate cup cakes. The sunny weather and relaxed Sunday feel had a positive buzz, which gave us a chance to promote the vegan diet to people who really wanted to listen! In fact, it was so successful, that we started to run out of food and leaflets by the middle of the afternoon. We had a number of new helpers on the stall, which was great.
