Catering at Waltham Forest Green Party Fair

We provided the catering at the Waltham Forest Green Party Fair on Sat 18 October 2008. This was the second year we catered at the fair; we were asked back after providing tasty vegan food at last years event. We served the 100 people who attended the fair with vegan delights such as sausage casserole, pizzas, salads and cakes, as well as tea and coffee giving people the opportunity to try soya milk. We had loads of positive comments about the food, and lots of people took away leaflets. All the food was served by donation and we raised about £100. We took the left over food to the anarchist bookfair where other members of vegan campaigns were doing a stall. Veggies were outside selling food, but had run out. Our left over cakes and savoury food were snapped up within minutes of my arrival, raising a further £37 for the group.
