Mother's Day information stall with dairy-free alternatives

Vegan Campaigns set up a stall in Covent Garden on Mother's Day to highlight the plight of the dairy cow. The dairy cow is continously made a mother only to have her babies taken away from her so that humans can drink the milk meant for her calf.

As well as loads of free information about the suffering of dairy cows and free guides to going vegan, we gave away free samples of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavoured soya milkshakes as well as vanilla and chocolate flavoured soya desserts kindly donated by Provamel. We also had the four different types of dairy-free milks (soya, oat, almond and rice) for people to sample.

Everyone who tasted the milks, liked at least one of them and took away more information with them about the vegan diet.

We always need help with stalls such as this one, so if you can help in the future please contact us.
